کیوں ڈھنگ کھو رہے ہو آج
جاگ نہیں سو رہے ہو آج
تم محفل میں آئے شاہ کے لیے
بسترِ تبسم کو دھو رہے ہو آج
روشنی کا تو کام ہے چمکنا لوگو
بے کار میں رو رہے ہو آج
قدر کر لیتے جب ہم نے کہا تھا تم سے
نفرت سے دلوں کو کیوں بو رہے ہو آج
یہ سب حکم ہے حاکم کا یہاں کے
